Insurance

Health and Dental Insurance Regular full time employees and regular part time employees scheduled to work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in the health and dental insurance plans following one month of employment, in most cases. Health insurance premiums may be deducted pre-tax. Disability Insurance Catholic United Financial provides disability insurance for regular full time employees in the event of extended illness and injuries not covered by workers’ compensation or other disability funds. The benefit pays a percentage of the employee’s current base earnings up to a maximum amount.

Retirement

401(k) Plan – Catholic United Financial 401(k) Plan provides employees with the opportunity to save for retirement on a tax-advantaged basis. Eligible employees may elect to contribute a portion of their compensation to the Plan. Catholic United may make a discretionary matching contribution to the Plan equal to up to 3 percent of your compensation.

Continuing Education

Catholic United Financial is committed to investing in its employees through continued education and training and provides an Education Expense and Tuition Reimbursement Program. Every year, employees are encouraged to attend industry-specific courses, seminars or conferences that will develop their skills and improve job performance. In addition, Catholic United Financial offers tuition reimbursement for successful completion of coursework of many industry-specific credentialing programs. Prior planning and approval by the department manager and Human Resources department is required.
